Leflore County Board of Supervisors

The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board of Supervisors held its second meeting of the month. Chancellor W. M. Sanders' request for janitorial services for the courtroom was discussed. Bridgette Brister requested the paving of a road. Agriculture bids were discussed. A phone for the elevator was discussed. New officers for the Juvenile Detention Facility were approved. The date for the meeting with the Hospital Board and City Council was set. Victor Stokes brought forward a discussion regarding building code violations.
